This recall involves Lasko ceramic heaters manufactured in 2005. Model numbers included in the recall are: 5132, 5345, 5362, 5364, 5420, 5532, 5534 and 5566. Model numbers are located on the bottom of the unit or at the rear of the base of the heaters. Read more.


April 26, 2007 The Holmes Group Recalls Oil-Filled Electric Heaters Due to Fire Hazard

The recall involves Holmes oil-filled electric heaters with model number HOH2505 and HOH2520. The model number and "Holmes®" are printed on the side of the unit near the bottom. Read more.


April 5, 2007 NY Thermal Inc. Recalls to Repair Gas-Fired Hot Water Boilers Due to Carbon Monoxide Hazard

The recall includes NTI Trinity gas-fired hot water boilers with model numbers Ti100, Ti150, Ti200 and Ti400. The boilers were manufactured between November 28, 2005 and January 8, 2007. The Ti100, Ti150 and Ti200 are wall-mounted units, and the Ti400 rests on the floor. The boilers are gray in color and "NTI" appears on the front cover. The model number and date of manufacture are located on the ID label inside the front cover of the boiler. Read more.


March 19, 2007 Laars Heating Systems Recalls Gas Boilers and Water Heaters Due to Carbon Monoxide Poisoning Hazard

This recall involves Laars 9600 CB Condensing Heating Boilers and Laars 9600 HWG Condensing Water Heaters with black vent pipe/tubing. The recalled boilers are used to generate hot water for heating systems including baseboards or radiant flooring. The recalled water heaters generate hot water for use in homes, such as showers, sinks and dishwashers. "Mark II" and "9600 CB" or "9600 HWG" are printed on the front of the boilers and water heaters. The model number and BTU size are printed on the right side of the unit. January 25, 2007 TAC LLC Recalls "Erie Boiler Boss" Boiler Controls for Scald Hazard

The recall includes all Erie Boiler Boss 2400 Operating Controls and Erie Boiler Boss 1200 Boiler Reset Controls. The controls are typically used to cycle the domestic or hydronic water system burner. The control is mounted in an enclosure mounted on or near the boiler. The recalled controls have a nameplate on the front of the enclosure with the system name and model number. A numerical LED display will be part of the nameplate. Affected BB2400 carton labels on uninstalled products will have date codes prior to 0523. Affected BB1200 carton labels on uninstalled controls will have date codes prior to 0647. No date code is stamped on installed products. Read more.

The recalled heater is a 1500 watt oscillating ceramic heater. The heater has a white plastic housing with the name "Heat-Wave" in black on its top. A label on the product contains the control number "ETL 3090262." Read more.


December 19, 2006 Crown Boiler Co. Recalls Boilers Due to Carbon Monoxide Poisoning Hazard

The recall involvesBermuda BSI and Cayman CWI Series gas-fired boilers designed for indoor installation. Model and serial numbers included in this recall are listed below and are located on the rating plate. The boilers have a two-tone, red and gray jacket enclosure with the controls and piping on the right side of the unit. The rating plate is a silver label located in the upper left hand corner of the right side panel. Read more.
