December 6, 2007 Collins International Co. Recalls Oscillating Ceramic Heaters Sold at Menards Retail Stores Due To Fire Hazard

This recall involves 1500 watt oscillating ceramic heaters model EB38005. The heater has a white plastic housing with the name "Heat-Wave" in black on its top. A label on the bottom of the product contains the model and the control number "ETL 3090262." Read more.


November 7, 2007 Packaged Terminal Air Conditioners and Heat Pumps Recalled by Carrier Due to Fire Hazard

This recall involves Carrier-brand packaged terminal air conditioners (PTAC) and packaged terminal heat pumps (PTHP) manufactured between 2002 and 2005. Model numbers included in the recall are 52C, 52P, and unbranded model 84 units sold through the Bryant and FAST channels. Serial and model numbers are located on the rating/data plate on the right front of the unit, underneath the removable front panel. October 5, 2007 P3 International Recalls IonizAir™ Air Purifiers Due to Risk of Fire

The recalled air purifier is a tabletop model that is about 6” x 3 1/2” x 11 1/4”. The unit has a removable cartridge with a silver-colored handle. The recall involves model number P4620 with lot numbers beginning with either 03 or 04 or having no lot number. The lot number is located on the bottom of the air purifier. August 30, 2007 Electric Heaters Recalled by Aloha Housewares Due to Fire Hazard

The recall involves electric, toe-space heaters typically installed in kitchens and bathrooms at floor level in the recessed space under cabinets. The recall includes Berko Electric catalog numbers TS, TS-1 and TS-1A and Emerson Electric "Chromalox Comfort Heating" and "Environmental Products" catalog number KSH2000. The heater is controlled by a wall thermostat or a thermostat mounted on the front of the heater. This recall involves all AC adapters with model number IO-ACADP1510UL. The model number can be found on the AC adapter. The AC adapters were sold with I-O Data® network hard disk drives model number UHDL-160U or UHDL-300U.
