August 27, 2019 At Home Recalls Shag Rugs Due to Violation of Federal Flammability Standard; Fire Hazard

This recall involves eight models of Ultimate Shag Rugs. Each rug has a label on the back stating "Ultimate Shag" and "at home." The rugs also have "100% Polyester" and "Made in China" printed on the label.The SKU number can be found on the back of the rug. August 22, 2019 Norwex Recalls Rubber Brooms Due to Laceration Hazard (Recall Alert)

This recall involves extendable indoor/outdoor white rubber brooms that adjust in height from 30.7 to 40.6 inches long. The "Norwex" logo is located on the plastic head covering the rubber bristles. An embossed date stamp code of 18/9, 18/10, 18/11 or 18/12 is located on the screw joint and lock base. Read more.


August 13, 2019 SunSetter Recalls Vinyl Covers for Motorized Awnings Due to Impact and Fall Hazards; One Death Reported (Recall Alert)

This recall involves all soft vinyl awning covers used with SunSetter® Motorized, Motorized XL, Motorized PRO, Motorized PROXL, and Oasis Freestanding Motorized Retractable Awnings distributed by SunSetter from June 1999 to January 2019 and supplied with bungee tie-downs. August 7, 2019 Seattle Manufacturing Corporation Recalls Ice Axes Due to Serious Injury and Fall Hazards

This recall involves Kobah Ice Axes of lengths 60, 65, 70 and 75 centimeters. The axes each have a steel pick and adze joined at the top of an orange aluminum handle shaft by a black polyamide resin head. There is a steel spike in the bottom of the handle shaft. "Kobah," "SMC" and Manufacturer's Lot Number (MLN) 10864 are printed on the handle shaft. Read more.


July 11, 2019 Levolor Recalls Custom Cellular Shades Due to Strangulation Hazard (Recall Alert)

This recall involves the Levolor Two-Corded Custom Cellular window shades. The shades were sold in the following styles: Bottom up single cell products (60 inches or less in width) Bottom up double cell products (44 inches or less in width) Top-Down/Bottom-Up or Day/Night corded products (42 inches or less in width) Various custom cellular configurations of specialty shapes The Levolor logo is printed on a sticker on the bottom rail. Manufacturing information, including the date of manufacture, is printed on a sticker on the head rail. Only units manufactured between 12/15/2018 and 04/30/2019 are included in the recall. July 10, 2019 Universal Security Instruments Recalls to Inspect Smoke Alarms Due to Risk of Failure to Alert Consumers to a Fire

This recall involves Universal Security Instruments 10 year battery-operated ionization smoke and fire alarms with model numbers MI3050S and MI3050SB and with date codes between 2015JAN19 through 2016JUL11. The smoke alarms are white in color and 5½ inches in diameter. "Universal" and "Smoke & Fire Alarm" are printed on the front cover of the alarm. June 21, 2019 Honeywell Recalls Gamewell-FCI and Notifier Photoelectric Smoke Sensors Sold with Fire Alarm Systems Due to Failure to Alert of a Fire

This recall involves "-IV" Intelligent photoelectric smoke sensors sold with fire alarm systems installed primarily in commercial buildings; not sold to retailers or consumers. The smoke sensors are round, ivory in color, and measure four inches in diameter. The model number, date codes and Honeywell or Notifier are printed on the back label of the smoke sensor. This recall involves the Profusion Heat electric garage heaters with model number HA22-48M. The heaters are red, have a grill on the front and a handle on the top. They measure about 13 inches high and 10 inches wide. The label, located on the back of the heater, contains the model number. June 20, 2019 Hunter Fan Recalls Brunswick Three and Four Light Ceiling Fans Due to Shock Hazard

This recall involves Hunter Brunswick ceiling fan models 52262, 52263, 54178, 54179, 54184, 54185. The model number can be found on a label on top of the motor housing. The recalled ceiling fans have three or four lights. The fans have four blades and range from 44 inches to 60 inches in blade span. They were sold in the following colors: white motor housing with white blades on one side and gray oak blades on the other side; black (natural iron) motor housing with gray oak blades on one side and aged oak blades on the other side.
