This recall involves "Little Lass" toddler pants sets sold with a velour jacket and pants, and a tee-shirt. The sets were sold in red and black, and have the words, "Snow Angel" printed on the front of the jacket. Sizes included in the recall are 2T, 3T and 4T. Read more.


February 7, 2007 Children's Bracelets Recalled by DM Merchandising Due to Lead Poisoning Hazard

The recalled bracelets are 8-inch long, silver-colored chain bands that have a 1 ½ -inch long casting with assorted designs, including a snake and a sword. Read more.


February 7, 2007 Children's Rings Recalled by Shalom International Due to Lead Poisoning Hazard

The children's rings are silver or gold-colored with designs or stones in a variety of colors. The rings come four to a package. "Kidz by Rachael Rose," "Family Dollar $1" and "SKU 1905580" are printed on the packaging. Read more.


February 7, 2007 LL Bean Recalls Infant Booties Due to Choking Hazard

The booties are sold in infant sizes 1-6. The booties were sold in a tan or pink suede. They have rubber soles and a zipper closure at the ankle. The booties are lined with creme-colored faux shearling acrylic/polyester fleece. "L.L. Bean" is printed in white letters on the soles of the booties. The size and stock #BNK1 are printed on a tag inside the booties. Read more.


February 6, 2007 Easy-Bake Ovens Recalled for Repair Due to Entrapment and Burn Hazards

The Easy-Bake Oven is a purple and pink plastic oven that resembles a kitchen range with four burners on top and a front-loading oven. "Easy Bake" is printed on the front of the oven. Model number 65805 and "Hasbro" are stamped into the plastic on the back of the oven. The Easy Bake Oven is an electric toy and is not recommended for children under eight years of age. Ovens sold before May 2006 are not included in this recall. Read more.


January 22, 2007 Next Step Plastic Sippy/Tumbler Cups Recalled for Laceration Hazard

January 18, 2007 Geometix International LLC Recalls MagneBlocks™ Toys, Ingested Magnets Pose Aspiration and Intestinal Hazards

All types of MagneBlocks™ construction sets are included in this recall. The sets contain six or more plastic building pieces and six or more 1/2-inch diameter steel balls. Some sets include steel rods. The building pieces are various colors and are shaped in 1 1/2-inch cubes and three-, four-, and five-sided pyramids. The Contempo™ highchairs have an “A” frame design. The highchairs feature six height adjustment positions and three recline positions. The recalled highchairs have model numbers that begin with 3800, 3803, 3804, 3805, 3810 and 3811 followed by a three letter fashion code. Model numbers included in the recall include: 3800COU, 3800DRB, 3800FMT, 3800GGG, 3800GRM, 3800HEM, 3800JEN, 3800LEG, 3800MNS, 3800OWD, 3800SND, 3800TFE, 3800RIT, 3803HRL, 3804CNR, 3805BDA, 3810PEW, 3810PST and 3811PST. The highchairs were manufactured from October 27, 2005 through November 22, 2006. The model number and manufacturing date are printed underneath the snack tray of these highchairs. Read more.


January 18, 2007 Target Recalls Baby Rattles and Ornaments for Choking Hazard

This recall involves plush rattles and frame ornaments sold in the "See. Spot. Save." department of Target stores. The two styles of rattles include a pink bear and a green moose. The plush animals either have a rattle inside or a plastic ring attached. The photo frame ornaments are a pink bear or green moose holding either a square or heart-shaped frame. Read more.


January 18, 2007 U.S. Toy Co. Recalls More Children’s Butterfly Necklaces Due to Lead Poisoning

The recalled necklaces have pendants shaped as butterflies that are painted in various colors. The pendants hang from a black cord. The necklace’s package is blue cardboard with images of flowers and butterflies and the words "Butterfly Necklace" printed on the front and "Item#JA298" on the back. Read more.
