October 17, 2006 Light & Motion Recalls Bicycle Light Batteries for Fire and Burn Hazards

The recalled batteries are found in Light & Motion 2004 ARC Li-Ion HID lighting systems. The lights are black with "ARC" and "LIGHT & MOTION" written in yellow letters. The recall includes only batteries with a manufacturer date code of 1003 or 1103. The date code is stamped on the bottom of the battery and "LIGHT & MOTION" is printed on the side of the battery. September 28, 2006 Cervelo Cycles Inc. Announces Recall of Bicycles Due to Fall Hazard

This recall only involves the 2005 model year R2.5 model bicycles and bicycle frames with serial numbers higher than R251700. The model numbers and serial numbers are printed on the bicycle frame tubes. The frames have clear coating over a carbon fiber with either red and white "Cervélo" decals on the down tube, seat tube and head tube, or blue and white decals in the same locations. Read more.


August 17, 2006 Target Recalls Scooters - Various Breaking Parts Present Fall Hazard

This recall involves F Forward Firestreet scooters. The red or blue aluminum scooters have a fold-down frame and model number BZ 020 SP. The "F Forward" logo is noted on the stem, wheel or base deck of the scooter. Read more.



July 12, 2006 M2Racer LLC Recalls Bicycle Headsets for Fall Hazard

The headset is the component on a bicycle which provides a interface that can rotate between the bicycle fork and the bicycle frame itself. The Conventional Headset is constructed of an anodized black alloy housing, stainless steel, and polymers. July 7, 2006 Felt Bicycles Announce Recall to Repair Mountain Bicycles for Brake Failure

This recall involves all model year 2005 and 2006 Kinesis made RXC bicycles. The frames on these bicycles are made with carbon fiber rear seat stays and are equipped with V-style brakes, and not equipped with disk brakes from the factory. Frames affected by this recall were shipped to dealers between October 2004 and April 2006. Read more.



May 4, 2006 Trek Recalls Anthem C Elite Bicycle Helmets for Failing Impact Standards

The recalled helmets are identified by the model name Anthem C Elite and Anthem C Elite WSD. A label inside the helmet identifies the helmet as "Trek Anthem C." The helmets are available in men's sizes in black/charcoal, blue/silver and blue/red, and in women's sizes in aqua blue/silver and white/silver. This recall includes all sizes of this helmet. April 5, 2006 LandRoller Inc. Recalls to Repair Roller Skates

LandRoller skates have two oversized wheels on each skate that are angled inward, which is designed to help the user keep balanced on cracked pavement and uneven surfaces. The recalled LandRoller brand skates are the "Terra 9" model manufactured between July 2005 and December 2005. The date of manufacture can be determined from the serial number, which is written on a white sticker attached to the upper inside of the right boot's plastic ankle cuff. Serial numbers beginning with "L050" are included in the recall. The brand name is on the skate's tongue and model is on the skate's rear heel area. Women's skates are purple and gray and sold in sizes 6 through 11. Men's skates are blue and black and sold in sizes 5 through 12. Read more.
