This recall involves Wild Country brand Superlight Rocks (model number 40-RSL) and Superlight Rocks Set 1-6 (model number 40-RSLSET) single cable wire chocks used for climbing. Superlight Rocks were sold as a set of 6 and individually in six different sizes and colors including: size 1 purple, size 2 green, size 3 silver, size 4 gold, size 5 blue and size 6 red. April 20, 2023 Lil Anglers Recalls Children's Fishing Rods Sold with Kid Casters No Tangle Combos Due to Violation of Federal Lead Content Ban

This recall involves children's fishing rods which were sold in a variety of colors including blue, green, orange, pink and red. The rods were sold as part of the Kid Casters No Tangle Combo which includes a 34-inch inline rod and reel combo, plastic casting plug, rattle bobber and a pre-tied snap swivel. The reel has a 3.3:1 gear ratio and is equipped with a 6 lb. line. The model numbers and date codes can be found on the fishing rod. This recall involves lithium-ion battery packs and replacement batteries on XS series Pulsator, Swimmer, Crazy Kicker, Flasher models of motion decoys used for waterfowl hunting. The Higdon brand is on the product and on the packaging. The following models are included in the recall and each of the recalled models contain a lithium-ion battery. March 9, 2023 YETI Recalls 1.9 Million Soft Coolers and Gear Cases Due to Magnet Ingestion Hazard

This recall involves the YETI Hopper M30 Soft Cooler 1.0 and 2.0, Hopper M20 Soft Backpack Cooler and SideKick Dry Gear Case. The products have a main-pocket closure lined with high-powered magnets, which are enclosed in a heat-sealed plastic strip. The M20 Soft Backpack Cooler measures about 18 inches wide and 18 inches high; the M30 Soft Cooler 1.0 and 2.0 is about 25 inches wide and 17 inches high; and the SideKick Dry Gear Case is about 11 inches wide and 7 inches high. The recalled coolers and gear cases were sold in a variety of colors and with the brand name YETI displayed on the front. A hang tag with the product name is attached to the coolers and gear cases. December 1, 2022 Summit Treestands Recalls Viper Level PRO SD Climbing Treestands Due to Fall Hazard

This recall involves Viper Level PRO SD climbing treestand with model number SU81140, SU81141. The treestands have a metal frame, a suspended foam-padded seat in a camouflage pattern material and weighs about 26 pounds. The seat platform on the stand measures about 37.5 inches long by 27 inches wide and the foot platform on the stand measures 36 inches long by 25 inches wide. The model number does not appear on the treestand itself, but is contained in the instruction manual and product packaging. The stand can be differentiated from other Summit climbing stands because it has the level system which allows for the level of the treestand to be changed while at height. The warning label located on the stand's seat will have a mark next to the product name "VIPER LEVEL PRO". Read more.

This recall involves 2022 model year Tethrd One Stick GEN 2 climbing sticks with serial numbers ranging from THSP-TONE-010000 to THSP-TONE-017749. The serial number is located on the back side of the rope locking system (Dynaloc). The rope locking system is the black rectangle on the side of the stick with the silver Tethrd logo. Read more.


July 14, 2022 Westfield Outdoor Recalls Tents Due to Injury Hazard; Sold Exclusively at Cabela's and Bass Pro Shops (Recall Alert)

The recall involves only the Cabela's Ultimate Alaknak Outfitter, the Instinct Outfitter and the Big Horn 6P tents supplied by Westfield Outdoor. The tents' sizes range from 10 feet by 10 feet to 13 feet by 27 feet and are sold in green. The name, model number, date code (HF MMDDYY) providing the place and date of manufacture, and SKU of the tent, are printed on the inside of the tent on the sewn-in warning label. The tents are designed for the optional use of a wood stove inside. The stove pipe exits the tent through the stove jack ring which provides a seal between the stove pipe and the tent. This recall involves RIO-branded swinging hammock chairs. The folding chairs have a black or gray metal frame, a fabric seat and a backrest with a pillow. Some chairs have a drink holder. March 2, 2022 Petzl Recalls PIRANA Descender Canyoneering Devices Due to Drowning Risk

This recall involves the Petzl PIRANA descender, an aluminum adjustable friction descender device for canyoneering. The descender has three rope installation options that allow the user to select the degree of friction before initiating a descent. A friction spur allows the user to increase braking power during descent. A plastic ring keeps the connector positioned to facilitate rope installation while the device is connected to the harness. The descender comes in orange (D005AA00) and black (D005AA01) with serial numbers ranging between 19 F 0000000 000 and 22 A 9999999 999. Serial numbers are located on the frame of the product.
