June 30, 2022 ShelterLogic Group Recalls RIO-Branded Swinging Hammock Chairs Due to Injury Hazard; New Instructions Provided

This recall involves RIO-branded swinging hammock chairs. The folding chairs have a black or gray metal frame, a fabric seat and a backrest with a pillow. Some chairs have a drink holder. They were sold in gray, navy, blue, red and camouflage. RIO is printed below the pillow. Only chairs with warning tags on the back of the chair's backrest or armrest are included in this recall. March 2, 2022 Petzl Recalls PIRANA Descender Canyoneering Devices Due to Drowning Risk

This recall involves the Petzl PIRANA descender, an aluminum adjustable friction descender device for canyoneering. The descender has three rope installation options that allow the user to select the degree of friction before initiating a descent. A friction spur allows the user to increase braking power during descent. A plastic ring keeps the connector positioned to facilitate rope installation while the device is connected to the harness. The descender comes in orange (D005AA00) and black (D005AA01) with serial numbers ranging between 19 F 0000000 000 and 22 A 9999999 999. Serial numbers are located on the frame of the product. December 22, 2021 Big Game Treestands Recalls 2021 The Captain Hang-on Treestands Due to Fall and Injury Hazards

This recall involves a certain batch of Big Game Treestands 2021 model year The Captain Hang-on Treestands, model BGM-FP0050 with serial/batch number 2M-0121 only. This is a Hang-on style treestand used to hunt from elevation. It is black in color with a flip back seat imprinted with the name "Big Game Treestands" and a foot rest. The Beal Birdie Belay Device is used by rock climbers. Belay devices are used with climbing ropes to protect the climber while climbing, to arrest a fall or while being lowered on the rope. The Beal Birdie Belay Device was sold in three colors: Orange handle, Blue handle or Green handle. This recall involves all units laser-marked with batch year "/19" on the side of the unit. December 16, 2020 Camp Chef Recalls Portable Gas Stoves Due to Fire Hazard

This recall involves Camp Chef portable stoves with model numbers MS40A, MSHP, or MSGG and with component gas regulators date coded "1923" through "2030" inclusive. The model number is located on the manufacturers label on the bottom of the stove. The gas regulator date code is engraved on the regulator. The MS40A stove is aluminum with the Mountaineer name printed on the front. The MSHP is black and red with EVEREST 2X printed on the front. The MSGG is black and red with the Rainer 2X logo printed on the front. All stoves have the Camp Chef logo embossed on the lid. Read more.
